Just tripped over this. 26 ga cat5 cable, designed for flexing,
should work.
40 ohms/thousand feet, so 0.2 per 5 feet. Say 3 amps,
Power during max current is 1.8 watts (spread over 5 feet).
However, duty cycle will be half or less even with continuous
motion, I doubt any of us could FEEL the temp rise, let alone
see insulation melt or burn. Am I wrong? /mark
