V22 is a more intuitive software than V21. Unfortunately, whereas V21
did 2D and 3D, they have split V22 into packages. The basic version
does 2D -- pocketing, profiling and engraving. There is another
package that allows 3D and still another (V22 Pro) that includes
Z-level functions that enhance 3D work. So, the version you were
offered was the basic version.

don't know enough about the software to make a decision. If any users
are on line would be good to get some feedback as to Bobcad as i last
looked at ver 18 and wasn't to impressed.
