I cast some bearings around some socket head shoulder screws this way...
They seemed to work OK, although it was a bit messy. The bearings ended
up being quite tight.
I used West Systems Epoxy (105/205) with 423 graphite powder,
and a MS122AD PTFE release agent. I tried several ratios
of graphite, and they all seemed to work pretty much the same.
I thought about also casting a zero backlash feednut, but I figured
that the natural small tolerances in the threads (I'm not using
a precision leadscrew) would result in too much binding.
