I made nuts for a Sherline with West Epoxy and graphite several years
ago. It seemed to work fine, but I have not used the mill in the last
few years, so I cant say much about how it wears.
I was not very careful in mixing the graphite, I just added enough to
thicken the epoxy, but left it thin enough to inject with a plastic syringe.
I have used graphite in epoxy on my steamboat, as a seam filing, and it
has held up great there.
