I'm pretty sure the design of the Albrecht won't let you drill a hole thru it.
What about drilling and tapping the stub of the broken JT adapter? If you drill all the way thru it, and tap it, and then turn a screw in until it bottoms out, it will force the stub out of thetaper.

Subject: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Slightly OT broken JT in chuck
Im slightly off topic, but I am hoping for help anyway. I have an
Albrecht keyless drill chuck with a broken Jacobs taper stem and want
suggestions for removal of the stem so I can reuse the chuck. The
broken stem protrudes 1/8 + out the top of the chuck, so I suppose I
could weld something to it. Or if I could get close to some liquid N,
maybe cool the stem fast enough to loosen. Don't know anyone with an
EDM here in Montana. Ideas?? Thanks, Chuck
