Well, there is more to it. The chip needs a three-step reset sequence,
so I had to put a CPLD on
there to handle it. Also, their reference design has some problems in
the boosted op-amp circuit,
and you need more options on the gain settings if you don't want to have
to solder resistors to
set the right drive level so the chip gets the signal level it needs on
any particular resolver.
