RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Re: inverse of pocket

Hi Chuck,

I don't know the program D2NC, but what I do in these situations is create a
second set of geometry. Try creating the boundary of the rectangle in the
same height as the circle/boss. Then choose both sets of geometry and do a
pocket.

OK, I found a "radial pocket" that I specify an inside diameter, so I can
leave the "island". But then I've got to do another area - using "X (or Y)
pocket wizards. So I can get it done, but I don't see how I can do it using
the dxf in D2NC.

So emergency is over, but I'd still like to learn what I apparently am
missing:o))

So this is the inverse of a "pocket" in that I want to leave the stuff
inside the circle and take away everything else. How do I do that? I can
"contour" around the the hole, but not further than one pass.
