Oh yeah, you have yourself a 5 phase motor. The other key is the 500
steps per rev.(.72 deg.). Most common in 5 phase motors. Is the Vexta
motor a ph5xxx number? The 5 meaning 5 phase. Of course the earlier
motors have a different number system. Unless you have a 5 phase driver
you are out of luck. I have several 5 phase motors and drivers that are
about to be mounted on my South Bend lathe. Let me know if you want to
part company with the motor.
