If ,in fact, it is a 5 phase motor it will only run with a five phase
driver. There is no magical hookup that will make it work unless it is
to a five phase drive. Yes, some five phase motors have ten wires. I am
looking at one now. It is a Oriental(Vexta). It is sitting right next to
a five wire(also Vexta). The six wire motor is a bit confusing. Most
likely that sixth wire is not used or is grounded. My five wire motors
have a blue, red, orange, green, and black wire. Did you say .4 amps? Mine
are all 2.8A and I do have a couple of 1.4A drivers.
