TBI machines was "Re: CNC screw machine mod"

Peter,

TBI, Thomas(?) Brothers Inc.

After looking at my Hardinge collet book I think the collet was a 215
with 1.75" capacity. The 315 is way too large.

Note, that these machines are usually listed as chuckers which
implies no tailstock. The machine I saw did have a tailstock.

Walker Machinery (formerly Rosemead Machinery) in LA usually has one
on the floor.

Made in LA. Sort of like a Hardinge CNC, only a little beefier I
think.

the initials stand for? The 315 collet, do you know what make and or
what max dia is? I'll look through my collet catalog tonite.

believe cardboard box to ship in / live in comes with it!!!
