It IS 4 axis, meaning it supports a fourth rotary axis. You can see
it in action on the website with a turbine wheel in a sherline rotary

phone,wants to be helpful, but knows very little about the products.
Otto's son works out in the shop, and knows more but, it's still best
to talk to The man. He wrote the software (as a hobby)for an old
commodore 64 while he was working as a machine operator. I tried many
times to get him to let me work on the GUI, but he didn't want to
part with enough info to make it possible. TMG (the motion group) in
San Jose, CA did write a "wrapper" for maxnc. Dave Downs was the main
guy there a few years ago. Did a lot with CY545 chips and serial port.
And had some erikkson chip stepper drivers that were decent.
to remember the skill set of the various members of this list.
