Re: DRO BOARDS ARE IN

I received the DRO boards on schedule and have assembled one to make ensure
there were no hidden problems. I connected it as a two axis board then I
added the other chip and ran it as a 4 axis board. The board worked great
with both the 1000 line rotary encoder and the 360 line linear encoder strip
from US digital. I check it in one inch against a dial indicator and
everything was right on the money. For those that use metric, Tom's program
works fine in the metric mode.
The fourth axis is is degrees minutes and seconds.
I am very pleased with the with these boards and you need to thank Tom
Kulaga who wrote the program and came up with the concept.
I had some extra boards make solet me know if you're intereested..
I will write up the documentation for assembly today. For those that have
all ready ordered boards I have contacted you by email.
