Help Pick out best software

All of you know more about cnc than I do at this time..

I am building a combination Plasma and router table...
so that I can do either one...
the problem is that I have been looking at the software that
I can download and it all seem to be more complicated than I was
thinking...

I want to be able to do 2 and 3 axis cutting and some would be parts
that I have drawn in autocad but I would also like to be able to add
text in whatever font I like...


Does anyone know of a program that will do this or a combination of
two....
