I remember reading about this (within the last year) in a design or
machining trade mag. Thought it was EZ-loc or Quick-lock, something
like that.

It used belleville washers (which the operator compressed with
the "backward quill pressure)to apply the locking force, just like
the machining center tool changers. An adaptor for the spindle, and
holders that looked like small CAT type.??

Sorry, that's all I remember. Try Penton publications' mfr. listing
(they are one of the larger trade magazine publishers) Do a search on
penton.
