The cheap one is called an Aussie and this is the one that uses the standard
drawbar. The Kurt can go as high as $800 for anything other than the
standard Bridgeport version. The Kurt uses a splined socket and special
drawbar. I'm told replacement drawbars are about $100.

The service rep at MSC/Enco told me the Aussie is not near as reliable as
the Kurt. Given that at least one of the four Kurt drawbars in my partner's
shop is broken whenever I visit, I'm not too sure the extra money is worth
it.

I need a power drawbar because I am tired of climbing on a box to get to the
top of my mill. Anybody have first-hand experience with the Aussie or Kurt?
My machine is a Supermax with NMTB 40 taper.
