EMC-programming request

It appears that there is a new release of EMC on the web site and the
backlash is being addressed.
For those of you wondering what I am writing about, go to :
ftp://ftp.isd.cme.nist.gov/pub/emc/emcsoft/linux_2_0_36/emc-16-Jul-1999.txt
and read the notes.
