Hi All:
Has anyone thought of using ferroconcrete for a machine base??
My father was a naval architect in the '60's and '70's, and designed a lot
of ferrocement yachts.
They were strong as hell, and looked really nice once they got their epoxy
paint.
You could make up a really slick looking machine with this stuff really
easily, and I bet it would be at least as good as castings.
Just a thought
