An excellent idea.

As both Carlos and I have said, this is not a brand new idea! Let's
learn from others.

Shopbot is one place I'd start. I don't know this for fact, but I
wouldn't be surprised if their 'box' uses the 2 letter commands AS
commands...

Ron G has mentioned the PICservo...

Can we get Flashcut (or a flashcut box) to 'tell' us what it's
receiving, or rather what the desktop is sending???

And of course the internet published 'specs' of motion
control 'boxes'.

Any takers?

P.S. I think we should do this fairly quickly, and settle on a
command set also very quickly, or I think we may stagnate.
