I am interested in your PC based system. Presently I am doing 5 machine
retro fits for a customer on very old Ekstrom Carlson Model 444 CNC routers
that had the OLD Allen Bradley 7000 series controls on them. It turns out
that decent support for those is almost non-existant plus they wanted all of
their machines to have the same controllers on them. Since I have already
started down the path using CncPRO software and the StarCam boards on these I
will probably have to continue with that set up. However, I also have other
customers that are making inquiries about doing the same thing on a number of
different machine makes. All of these use DC servo drives and therefore it
would be easier for me if I could have a system that will directly interface
with the servos. Please let me know what the cost would be to purchase
either the individual components from you and/or the complete control package
from you. I won't be purchasing large numbers as would an OEM however I have
always been a believer in not re-inventing the wheel when a perfectly good
one can be bought, if the price is right.
