I'm working on a project for someone at the moment, which involves replacing
some parts made of Unobtanium. Those being rockers for a 1934 Singer LeMans
car.
I've found that I can quite easily replace Unobtanium parts with
Costalotium. Unless the unobtanium original involved some plastic fittings,
which seem often to be made of polycrackothene, in which case unobtanium
might be the only option.
I've made an alloy "blank" and having them cast in rockwell 60 steel and
ground to final shape. Costalotium is for real..
