My wife bought me the second edition of "Mechanisms and Mechanical
Devices Sourcebook" by Chironis & Sclater.

Neat book! I have always wanted to build something that uses a
"Geneva Movement". Lots of gears, cams, and monkey motion. A great
mind exercise just to figure out how some of these gadgets work.
