Check out Camtronics, Dan has 5 amp drivers in kit form that are easy to
assemble, and price is good, you will also need power supply parts, but
members of the list will I am sure be happy to guide you.
I was thinking about using a mill, CAM controlled with a router fastened to
the head to make patterns for casting, there just seem to be no practical
limits what can be done in the homeshop.
