I am not personally familiar with this motor, but let me ask a few more
questions to get a general understanding.
How many wires does the motor have?
In you Bipolar setup (assuming the answer to the above is not 4) are you
hooking up to the whole coil, 1/2 coil, or the 2 - halves of the a single
coil in parallel (only doable on an 8 wire motor)?
Final question, why do you want to up the amperage?
