RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Stepper motors and increased Amps

From my understanding you will not want to increase the amperage. You also
have to understand how the ratings are figured. If they are for unipolar and
you are using bipolar series you have to lower the amperage by about 40%
from the unipolar rating.

Please tell us more. How are the motors rated (unipolar or bipolar) and how
are you wiring and driving them?
