Ooh! Wish I'd seen this before I bought the mill/drill XY table. Maybe
this could have been my Christmas present. $250 is very low, I wonder
what the quality is like.

I just got a bunch of NEMA 23 steppers that I suspect are in the range
of 60 oz-in that would be perfect for this.

Ironic, the vertical travel is more than the X or Y travel. 3.75" x 2.5"
is a bit too small for many of the things I'm building mine for, but
you're right- it is just cute!

The screws on it now are 20tpi which would give pretty high resolution
without gearing down, especially with the half, 1/4, and 1/8 stepping
people are talking about. Don't know what the backlash is, of course, or
how hard to add anti backlash nuts, but this thing looks great for small
stuff!

However, the spindle speed is pretty low. Not hard to stick a dremel on
there, though.
