If you put a fan on the motor, you can probably get away with it. The ratings
on the motor probably assume some reasonable temperature for inside a piece
of equipment, like 50 C or so. If you can blow some air over the motor at
no more than 30 C, it should be able to take an increase in current, as long as
that current isn't so much as to demagnetize the magnets. Many of these
motors are designed to take 2-3 X the idling current during acceleration,
but the duty cycle needs to be limited to prevent overheating. You might set up
a circuit to increase motor current only when moving.
