Sure! That sounds like a plan! Do you drill through the ball bearing?
That must be tricky! a .25" shaft would mount good in a collet on the
Sherline. Or any other way you think would work good. My .75" x 16
spindle thread is still giving me problems. I have ordered a tap and
die set for that size (can't remember the catalog!), never received
them! I had hoped to clean up the threads a little. They were never
damaged, but I can't thread on an end mill holder.

I have another similar offer of exchange, and am open to a few more.
I'm running on a single '386 33mhz machine, so that is one thing I need
to sort out. Using the 8254 timer should help out on the delay timing
needed to set the axis speed.
