I'm a 'most of time lurker' depending on my very limited knowledge on CNC
:-(.
I have just finished bulding my own little CNC mill/engraver and struggling
thru
the differnt freeware/shareware/demo controllers-programs. I downloaded the
demo of
CNCPro a couple of weeks ago and tried running it at the DOS promt inside
windows.
That didn't work so good at all.
So as far as I know it has to be run in REAL DOS mode.

You should be able to set up a Boot-menu so that you can choose if you want
to
start Windows or stay in DOS. Sorry I can't tell you how. (But I would like
to know).
Whenever I want to stay in DOS (to run Stepster for the moment) I press F8
just when
the screen says 'Starting Windows 98' at the bottom.
