I'll have to VEHEMENTLY DISAGREE with you about combination machines being
abysmal. Perhaps you can apply the term to most of them but that's probably
because they were designed properly in the first place. I expect the combo
machine I'm building will be an EXCELLENT machine...with all the
capabilities and then some of both a mill and a lathe.
