Doug,

Good evening! The servoamp would be just that; an amplifier. It will
be jumperable for torque mode, velocity mode and IR compensated mode.
The loop would be closed at the computer or motion controller. It
would still have current limit adjust as well as balance and gain
trimpots. The interface will be +/- 10VDC as well as 0 to +5VDC; take
your pick.

The brushless servodrive will be eqivalent to the above as well as
a "G320" version. Like everyone else, I bought several of the 40W
brushless servomotors with encoders that were being peddled around a
while ago. They make an excellent test bed because the encoder has
three 120 degree commutator channels as well as a quadrature encoder
with index.

Breadboarding now and revising. When that's done, the layout begins.
Basically 6 months out at this.
