Yeah, about halfway through my reply, I realized you weren't turning
square stock! But I edited my response a little, because it sounded
wild! No reason you can't do a little lathing (sp?) on the mill! I
think we've also discussed (on one of these lists) putting a chuck on
the spindle, and a fixed bit held in a vise (or some kind of tool
holder) on the X Y ways.

Quite interesting comments about the state of "safety in schools", I'm
sure it's a similar situation here!
