Yes, I'll post pics. And it won't take zillions of steps. With my
spreadsheet, I stumbled across the obvious answer, a 1.8: reduction and
Pete pointed out a combination of readily available pulleys. All I
wanted was to avoid partial steps to get even degrees. At 200 steps
resolution, I get 1/4 deg, so a moderate degree of microstepping will
do what I want.
