those sound like very light numbers what size machine are
you running it on?

assuming a HSS cutter and mild steel or cast iron workpiece
gives about 70 surface feet/min for ~350rpm on a 3/4" cutter
with a feed of about .001 to .003 per tooth
for something like (I'll guess an 8 tooth cutter)
8 teeth x .002 IPT x ~350 RPM = ~5.6 inches/min feedrate (~.016 IPR)

running too light a feed rate can wear the tool out long
before its time ,it rubs instead of getting in and cutting
