I'd love to be able to color harden using the material the book binders used
to color the edges of legal books at the place I worked for one WAY BACK
WHEN. The smell would be terrible though...they used OX gall.
I do know there are several types of brines that help produce
colors...everyone has their own secret receipe and it's damn near impossible
to find out what the really good ones are.
