What you want is the point 'leaning' away from the direction of wheel
rotation. What you want to avoid is the diamond leaning into the direction
of rotation. This could cause a slight vibration that causes the diamond
point to dig in a bit to keep digging in deeper until the wheel bursts.
With the point leaning away, it will tend to deflect away from the wheel
under increased pressure.
