In the interest of SAFETY, i wouldn't place the diamond point at a 90 degree
angle to the grinding wheel when dressing them to a formed shape. That's a
good way to cause the wheel to explode while dressing the wheel!
The diamond point should be at a slight angle....which is why the commercial
dressing point are mounted that way.
