Thanks for the endorsement of Tek. I have no problems with used, and frankly
would rather have a 10-20 year old instrument. If I fry it, I'd somehow feel better
frying something used instead of new, even if they cost the same...<G>
I might wait a while and spend more. Most important is to get something useful.
I bought an ancient Heath scope at a yard sale once, think it was 5kHz or so.
Only cost $5, and the tube was so weak I had to turn out shop lights to really
see it! I played it it for a couple weeks until the tube totally gave out.
