If this is in reference to castable bearing resins, Moglice is correct.
I've used it several times. My first application was to cast a new nut
for a DoAll surface grinder. DoAll wanted $1800 for a new crossfeed
screw/nut. I had a shop in the mid-west custom grind a 1"-10 acme screw
to my specs, and I bored out the nut, coated the screw with release, and
injected Moglice with everything in place.
I've also made some nuts for my MaxNC with Moglice, and having some
extra, quickly coated a length of linear bearing shafting with release,
secured a short length of tubing with clay, and filled. This made the
smoothest, slickest plain bearing I have ever felt.
It's available in a paste form also, that stays in place pretty well.
Bought mine from Devitt Machinery. Can't find the number just now, but
will look for it if anyone is interested.
Anyone interested in casting nuts, let me know, there's a trick...
