Linux help

I now have Red Hat 5.1 up and running. xfree-86 works but all I can get is
620X480 res. I have a trident 8900c with 1024 on board mem. Do I need
xfree-86 to run EMC?
My problem now is how do I connect to my ISP? I have Netscape but no dialer.
My Linux box is Linux only, no other OS on it.
