My commercial product does nothing with stepper motors or step and direction
signals.

What it does is read two encoders, several other sensors and interfaces to a
display / control interface board.

Then a 120 VDC PM motor's speed and run duration is controlled. I can't be
specific on what controlling the motor accomplishes due to non disclosure
agreements with my client but it has absolutely nothing to do with CNC of
metal or woodworking machines. It's quite funny that all my high tech
electronics and programming is being used by mostly ladies in a low tech
industry. There are other competing systems out there but mine brought some
new techniques to the industry.
