NO, No no. You need a mill drill with a dovetailed column or you
will spend forever trying to get it adjusted to register if you
move the head up or down. ENCO doesn't sell a mill/drill with a
dovetailed column. You will have to get at least a Rong Fu RF45.

Alternatively, if you have a friend with a large horizontal mill
you could cut a V-groove in the round column for a key in order
to preserve registration when you raise or lower the head. Model
Engineering Workshop magazine had an article on how to do this.
