I just did a brain dead install today, the name fits well, as it was
totally painless. Took about 40 minutes or so. I used a SCSI CD
Rom drive with an IDE hard drive. Much easier than doing it the
old way, and the KDE desktop is miles ahead of anything that
came with RH 5.2. The best part of it is, whenever my mouse
arrow touches the side of the screen the whole thing does not
shift to one side. Those who used the old version will know what
I mean by that.
I have not hooked it to my machine yet, so I do not know if the
performance will be as good as with RH 5.2 but I'll find out
tomorrow. Hope so
