I enclose my ballscrew in a long rectangle. ie 4"x4" square steel
tubing or extruded square aluminum tubing. Then I cut a long slot 1"
wide along the side of the tube for the arm to the nut, to run along.
Cover the slot with two 'wipers' from garage door. Tube too heavy?
Cut/machine holes, squares, designs etc. along the face of the
tubing. I cover the holes by glueing Wilson Art on the inside which I
slide through the slot after painting. Wilson Art is counter top
material which you can get real cheap in you're color blind. Nothin's
too good for a Canadian. Brian
