Freqmod is for open loop steppers, but with an improved (but more resource
intensive) task generating the pulse timing. There is another module that if
I remember correctly has dro in the name which is for closed loop steppers
(If you look at the read me from about Feb. 2000 you will find mention of
it). It is based on freqmod, but is distinctly different.

Missed getting the error message. If you send it we can probably get this
figure out real quick.

You will need one of the Linux gurus for this. I always used the kernel
filed on the RedHat 5.2 CD and never had problems. Suggest moving to the BDI
now.
