problem seemed to disappear when I switched from steppermod to freqmod.
I still get the kernel message but the system seems to be stable unless
I fiddle with the PID tuning on the fly. It has crashed a few times
while trying to set tuning parameters through the GUI.
In steppermod I could get about 10 kHz steprate. So far in freqmod I can
only tune it for about 11 kHz with about .025 following error. I thought
I read somewhere that 30 kHz is attainable in freqmod?
P=75
I=0
D=0
FF0=0
FF1=.75
FF2=0
How do you tell EMC to home up (limit switches), or how do you tell it
is at home (no limit switches) to zero the machine coordinates?

time at UMR also.
