That sounds like the machine I've been planning to build! I've been
wanting a PCB mill, so I've accumulated a bunch of stuff to base it
on:
MDF, threaded rod, ball-bearing drawer slides, dremel tool, stepper
motors from some old electronic gizmos (scanner, plotter, laser
printer), etc.

My questions are:

1) What is this 'dermal' you mention?
2) How good is the repeatability of your machine? (One of the reasons
I've not gotten very far on the machine is that I worry that the
resulting machine might not be accurate enough for making simple
printed circuit boards.

Thanks!
