Another approach- get Dan Mauchs 3 axis 2 amp driver kit for $149. Use a
300W PC power supply- free if you look at a junk place, maybe $30 if you
buy one new. This is only 12V for the motor drive, but it moves my
Sherline as fast as I need it to move.

Find 3 step motors in a surplus place- the latest Brigar catalog had
some just about the right sixe for $19.95 each. Ive bought many of them,
never paid over $20 each, just missed a beauty at the MIT flea yesterday
that went for $1.

Buy CNCpro for about $200.

As complete as Flashcut and a bit less money! And its all standard
stuff, no properitary signal generator box.
