Alan,
Motor is scrap. Opened up the back and the windings are cooked, and I
could smell that distinct aroma of electrical devices from which all the
smoke has escaped. Bummer. The mfg is known today as API Portescap,
makers of primo stuff. Got a reply this morning, that was a 450 oz/in
motor. Double bummer.
