This is right you can use sintered Diamond mills that you get from Dental laboratory
suppliers. The coated ones do last only an hour of work. The sintered ones last for years
and are only 2 to 3 times the price. I pay some 18 bucks for a 4 mm diameter sintered
diamond mill with 2.3 mm shank.
Use a Fordome motor tool at 12000 to 25000 revs. But let the diamond make the work.
do not force the piece.
Otherwise you damage the mill the motor tool and/or the mirror.
Sometimes a little detergent soap can minimize the clogging with oil.
If you use soluble oil for coolant you will clog the mill
