Hi Coert,

You might want to consider going from DXF to Gcode first, and then
something like CNCpro. Yeager has both. EMC has also been suggested.

I'd think that generating the the XYUV from Vector CAD/CAM, and POST
processing the axis names for CNCpro would quite well!

Humm... I wonder how one would handle the circular interpolation? I
think I can now see how the linear interpolation would work, thanks to
Fred's examples; but which/how would FOUR axes be interp. for arcs?
done in pairs, XY and UV? OUCH!!

That someone kindly posted, a little hard to see pix, but WOW is he set
up to cut foam! OK, so that's not a new project I need to start, but
ya' gotta' admire the effort (even if I don't understand all of it)!

Quite a bit of work to write a DXF converter AND a 4 axis controller,
Unless you want to do it for your own edification! :>)
